Hey fashion people,
Burrr. It’s getting chilly out. But I am excited to start wearing the heap of sweaters piled in my closet again. Aren’t you? The outfit for today actually started with the shoes. I bought them (kind of) spur of the moment in New York a little over a week ago. I’ve wanted a pair of docs for the longest time, but never could commit to shelling out over $100 for them. In New York though it seemed every store we walked into had them, sitting them, calling my name, and with every store I wanted them more.. and more… and more…. and more until I broke down and bought them. I’m very happy with them, though, and think they were completely worth my entire paycheck for this week :).
The outfit. Started with the boots then I searched through my skirts because I wanted to pair the boots with something of the complete opposite style. I kept the color in the boots (aren’t they a beautiful red for fall?) and slipped my black fuzzy sweater over my head to keep warm.
Sweater: Thirfted $3
Skirts: Dry Goods $25
Docs: New York City $140
Thanks for visiting,
hope to see you soon
Plaid is so hot this season & I can’t get enough of it. I just bought a beautiful plaid jacket from Zara, and a few weeks ago a blue plaid skirt I’m so excited to wear. If you’re as obsessed with plaid as I am check out the pieces below and let the shopping begin.

Hello style friends,
I MISS YOU & I could not think of a better outfit to start blogging again with than this one. With some of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe (probably because I bought them in New York this summer).
I started with the skirt. To dress it down a bit, I matched the grayish-blue tones from in the skirt with my Marc by Marc Jacobs tee. I literally went though just about all the shirts in my closet first though, and none of the colors seemed to look right with the skirt. Then I buckle-buckle-buckled (they are a pain to get on, but so worth it) on my grunge Aldo boot-sandals I bought at the end of the summer (and am trying to wear them as much as possible while I still can).
Top: Marc by Marc Jacobs $36
Skirts: KAS New York (sample sale) $40
Black Belt: Forever 21 $2
Shoes: Aldo $60
Thanks for visiting,
hope to see you soon.
